How can tidying help me?

There are many reasons as to why you might be thinking about having a big tidy. Maybe it’s to prepare for guests, because you’re moving, or you just want to feel good about your home. Here are some of the benefits for the reason to make it a priority!

You’ll know where everything is

One of the most important things I’ve learnt with tidying, is that everything has a home. From bowls to batteries, each item has its place. Once you’ve figured out where you want your possessions to live, it becomes much easier and quicker to locate and use your things during the day. It also helps with the next tidy as you know exactly where things go.

You’ll know what you have

It’s such a terrible feeling when you buy extra things that you don’t need, only to find a month later it was hidden under the bed the whole time. As well as saving money, you could also discover lost keepsakes with great memories attached to them.

Positivity for your mental health

I don’t know about you, but when my flat is clean and tidy, I feel so refreshed. I have the confidence to get some work done without worrying about the clutter around me as it frees up space in my thoughts to focus. It also gives me much more confidence when hosting guests (especially the landlady!) as everything is in tip top shape.

But where to begin? Tidying up can seem like a hugely daunting task. Perhaps there’s a room full of stuff you haven’t touched in years, or a wardrobe that barely closes anymore. If you don’t know where to begin, or have other barriers blocking your way to a clutter free life, I would love to help with your magical transformation. Contact me now for your free consultation.
